On 16 February, the Iranian Sport for All Federation organized the International Congress of Sport for All Development, in the capital city of Tehran.

On 14 - 18 March, 2024, the 17th ASFAA Congress is set to take place in Macao, China. Hosted by the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, the Congress will be held under the theme of 'Strengthening Family Relationships through Sport for All'.

On 9 February, TAFISA Member ANESTAPS hosted its grand oral event at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, focusing on the role of physical activity and sport in addressing European challenges and a presentation of the ANESTAPS position paper.

The INTERACT+ project aims to increase participation and education in Sport for All and health-enhancing physical activity, develop new delivery systems in Sport for All capacity building, and support sports organisations in changing their policies. To make these changes in the most sustainable and efficient ways, the INTERACT+ project began with establishing a strong evidence base for the project.

On 30 January the Erasmus+ Sport Info Session was held and provided information about the political context, the future programme and funding opportunities, and changes in the grant application procedures in 2024. 

In partnership with Women in Sport Botswana (WASBO), TAFISA launched the Girls Positive & Safe Coaching Pathway programme on 26 January at the BNSC Hall of Fame.

In collaboration with the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Foundation, Pro Sport Development (PSD) successfully implemented a journey to empower marginalized youth in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India through the Community Table Tennis (CTT) programme.

The TAFISA Mission 2030 Workshop on "Community and Volunteerism: Strategies for Improved Volunteer Engagement" took place on 17 January.

DAVOS, Switzerland, 17 January – On the sidelines of the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting 2024,  which is being held from January 15 to 19 in Davos around the theme of "Rebuilding Trust", the Schwab Foundation, in partnership with the World Economic Forum, announced Amine Zariat, President of Tibu Africa, as one of the winners of the 2024 Social Innovation Awards.
